Redi Tlhabi can’t believe her simple response turned into social media debate

Redi Tlhabi simply responded to a theory regarding the Zuma rape case and it turned into a trending social media debate – After Tlhabi responded to an apology made by the women who allegedly falsely accused Tumi Sole of rape, a social media user wondered what would have happened if Khwezi had lied about Zuma – Obviously Tlhabi had considered this point, but her response was twisted and turned into a wildfire

Veteran radio broadcaster and journalist Redi Tlhabi is completely gobsmacked at the fact that a simple idea she put on social media was twisted and turned into a trending debate. In 2017, Tlhabi wrote a book titled Khwezi. The book looked into the life of Aids activist Fezekile Ntsukela Kuzwayo, who Zuma was acquitted of raping in 2005.

Just this year Zuma accused Tlabi of being a spy and a star coordinator in the attempt to ruin his career and taint his name; Zuma expressed this when he stood before the Zondo enquiry in July. Earlier this month, Country Duty’s Tumi Sole was accused of raping a woman and giving her HIV in a Durban hotel room. This woman who allegedly made these accusations took to social media with an apology letter. Tlhabi saw the letter and could not believe her eyes. In response to the post, Tlhabi expressed how ill it made her that so many ‘smart, calculating dangerous, scheming liars’ got away with murder just because they hold a position of power.
