A dispute over goalkeeper gloves has ended in tragedy at a KwaZulu-Natal school. A pupil stabbed 15-year-old Philasande Mkhize and three other boys at Zifikile High School in Inchanga. The Grade 8 pupil later died from his injuries. The attack happened on Monday, 17 August 2026. KwaZulu-Natal police have since arrested a 16-year-old pupil.
