The Royal Zinzi Wipes Instagram Clean: Brand Reset or Clash Between Her Two Online Worlds?

South African model and digital creator The Royal Zinzi, whose real name is Zinzile Sibanyoni, has sparked speculation after apparently clearing the content from both of her main Instagram accounts.

As of 7 October 2026, her lingerie-focused page, @the_royal_zinzi, remains active with approximately 168,000 followers. Her personal account, @zinzile_sibanyoni, is also available and has around 130,000 followers.

However, neither account currently displays photographs, videos or Reels on its main feed.

A deeper look at her connected Threads presence also reveals activity dating back to 27 April 2026. That digital footprint confirms that content linked to her wider Instagram identity previously existed, although it does not explain when or why her Instagram feeds were cleared.

So, did Royal Zinzi remove the posts because her normal life was clashing with her more provocative subscription content? Or is she preparing something entirely new?

Royal Zinzi’s Instagram accounts remain active

Although the feeds are empty, both Instagram profiles remain online. Therefore, Zinzi has not completely deactivated her social-media presence.

Her usernames, profile photographs, biographies, external links and follower numbers are still visible. Several Instagram Story highlights also remain accessible.

On her Royal Zinzi page, she describes herself as the author of There’s Royalty in Lingerie. The biography continues to promote intimacy, confidence and empowerment while directing followers to her personal account.

Meanwhile, her personal page identifies her as a model, entrepreneur, spiritual person, foodie, traveller and founder of the online business Gotta Have These.

This suggests that she has preserved the framework of both brands while removing their public content.

The 27 April Threads activity provides another clue

A closer inspection of Zinzi’s Threads presence reveals activity dated 27 April 2026.

The date matters because Threads and Instagram are closely connected through Meta’s account system. Creators commonly use the same identity across both platforms, and Instagram content can also direct audiences towards Threads.

However, the surviving Threads activity does not confirm whether Zinzi deleted or archived her Instagram posts. It also does not reveal the exact date on which the Instagram clean-up happened.

Instead, it provides evidence that her connected social-media presence was active before the feeds became empty.

Her Threads accounts still carry her name and remain linked to the Instagram profiles. Older activity also remains visible, but there is no public statement explaining the sudden disappearance of her Instagram posts.

Therefore, the Threads trail deepens the mystery without solving it.

Did her personal life clash with her naughty side or OnlyFans Account?

One possible explanation involves the increasingly blurred line between Zinzile Sibanyoni’s everyday identity and The Royal Zinzi’s provocative online persona on onlyfans.

For years, the Royal Zinzi brand has centred on lingerie modelling, sensual photography, body confidence and intimate self-expression. Her online link hub also directs followers towards paid “exclusive” content.

Her personal account, by comparison, highlights spirituality, travel, food, business and ordinary lifestyle experiences.

On paper, the two pages serve different purposes. However, each profile openly promotes the other. Followers visiting her personal page are directed to the lingerie account, while the Royal Zinzi page identifies Zinzile’s personal profile.

As a result, the line separating her private identity from her adult-facing business became increasingly thin.

It is possible that Zinzi decided to create stronger boundaries between those two worlds. She may want a personal page that potential business partners, relatives or mainstream audiences can visit without immediately encountering explicit promotional material.

However, she has not confirmed that her OnlyFans presence, a relationship or family pressure caused the clean-up.

A carefully planned rebrand remains possible

The simultaneous disappearance of content from both accounts suggests a coordinated decision.

Instagram allows users to archive content without permanently deleting it. Archived posts disappear from the public feed but remain available to the account owner. Zinzi could therefore restore everything later.

Because her biographies, highlights and promotional links remain active, this appears more like a controlled reset than a complete withdrawal.

Influencers regularly clear their feeds before launching a new business, announcing a partnership or introducing a different visual identity. An empty page creates curiosity and ensures that the next post receives immediate attention.

Zinzi also has experience in digital marketing, advertising and brand management. She understands how silence, mystery and visual presentation influence online engagement.

Clearing two large accounts would undoubtedly make followers ask questions. That attention could form part of a future relaunch.

Her lingerie business has not vanished

Despite the Instagram clean-up, the rest of Zinzi’s online business structure remains visible.

Her link hub still promotes her personal page, exclusive subscription material, shop, YouTube channel and book.

She published There’s Royalty in Lingerie: The Enchanted Collection in September 2024. The book combines lingerie photography with discussions about confidence, fashion and intimate self-expression.

In its official description, Zinzi explains that she began modelling in 2005 before joining Modelcup in 2010. She also describes lingerie as a symbol of freedom, empowerment and personal style.

That history makes it unlikely that she has suddenly rejected lingerie modelling.

Instead, she may be changing how and where she distributes the content. Moving more revealing material behind a subscription could allow her to present a cleaner public image while still earning from her established adult audience.

Could Instagram have removed the posts?

Instagram restricts nudity and sexually explicit material, even when creators present it as modelling or art. Therefore, platform moderation cannot be dismissed completely.

However, neither account appears suspended. The profiles remain searchable, while their biographies and Story highlights are still visible.

There is also no public warning suggesting that the accounts were hacked. Zinzi has not used her visible Threads activity to report a security breach or explain the removal.

Consequently, claims involving Instagram punishment, relationship pressure or a dispute over OnlyFans remain speculation.

The available evidence points more strongly towards a deliberate clean-up. The surviving profile information, business links and connected Threads history suggest that Zinzi has not disappeared. She has simply removed the part of her digital history that followers could previously see.

Whether this marks a new personal chapter, a separation between her mainstream and naughty identities or a carefully planned Royal Zinzi relaunch remains to be seen.
