Seven suspects have been arrested after a cash-in-transit van was robbed on Monday along Matlala Road in Polokwane, Limpopo.
Some of the suspects were arrested on Monday night and others during the early hours of Tuesday morning.
The robbers made off with an undisclosed amount of money after firing several shots before blowing up the vehicle.
The SAPS recovered two bullet-riddled cars, rifles, ammunition, cartridges, explosives and money bags in Seshego.
The vehicles are believed to have been stolen in Gauteng.
Police say more arrests are imminent.
