It has now been revealed that Sis Ouma had pneumonia, which is her cause of death. Her co-stars on Skeem Saam have been battling to come to terms with her death.
Actor Joseph Tshepo Senatle who spent a lot of time with Nokuzola on Skeem Saam as their characters were closely linked, opened up about how everything has affected him. He also shared the last conversation the two of them shared.
“Losing someone you work with hurts, from Ntate Ramolao (the first) and now Sis Ouma.” He said. “The thought that you’ll never see someone who’s so dear to you ever again in the physical is such a heart-wrenching experience, something you wouldn’t wish for the worst of your enemies.”
Sending his condolences to the family of the late actress, Senatle also revealed the last conversation that they had. “May the soul of Sis Nokuzola find solace in GOD’s beautiful palace. Sending my love and condolences to her family, friends, fans and the beautiful #SkeemSaam family. “Jonga alpha Ramolao”
Shortly after it had been announced that Sis Ouma had passed on, Tshepo a powerful verse from the Bible and then said that those were the last words she shared with him.
Here is your Word for today: Verse: Romans 12:12
‘Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.’
– Hope is a wonderful thing that allows us to rejoice in advance.
– We can rejoice in the confident hope we have in God.
– We do face storms in life, but then we must be patient.
– Keep on praying and live in hope, He will come through for you.
PRAYER: Lord, help me to be joyful as I live with the hope that You have good things in store for me. May I be patient when I am going through difficult times, knowing that You will be with me and may I never forget to pray. Amen.
Have a blessed Tuesday.
And that was her Last Words to Me
Former Skeem Saam star and Blood & Water actress Natasha Thahane shared a video clip of her and the late Nokuzola on set when she was singing her praises. “She is disciplined, she likes her job, she likes people. I remember when I was down she’d say. ‘mommy let’s pray.’ Then we pray then I come right and do my work for the day.” Gushed Sis Ouma about Natasha.
Skeem Saam has also sent their message of condolences to the actress’ family.
“What a painful loss this is to us. We love you and we will miss you dearly. Rest In Peace NOKUZOLA (Sis Ouma) MLENGANA. May her family accept our warmest condolences and we send thoughts of peace and courage their way.”
