Gauteng: At 08H15 Wednesday morning Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the R24 Rustenburg Road in Krugersdorp.
Reports from the scene indicate that the driver of a light delivery vehicle lost control resulting in the vehicle leaving the road and impacting a tree.
Medics assessed the patient and found that he had sustained serious injuries and required Advanced Life Support intervention to stabilize him.
Due to the nature of the patients injuries the Netcare 7 specialized helicopter ambulance was activated to airlift him to the hospital for further treatment.
