While the alleged unfair treatment of actors in the entertainment industry as a whole continues to be on everyone’s lips, actor Clint Brink is the latest star to weigh in on the matter.
The star, who has been in showbiz for decades, said he was upskilling himself because he had been hurt enough.
Clint‘s tweet follows a letter penned by veteran actress Vatiswa Ndara, information Arts and Culture Minister Nathi Mthethwa about the alleged unfair treatment she experienced with Ferguson Films. The letter has sparked a discussion about the plight of actors in Mzansi.
“Besides obtaining a degree in professional Film & TV acting, I also upskilled myself to do music production, I co-owned a gym, I am finalising my qualifications to be a certified health practitioner & I am producing Film & TV. Why? Cause I’ve had my heart broken enough,” the actor wrote

Local songstress Karlien van Jaarsveld and husband Joe Breytenbach are expecting their second child together. Karlien has twin boys from a previous marriage to former rugby player, Derick Hougaard. This will be Joe’s second child.
