South African media personality and businesswoman, Zodwa Wabantu, has debuted the first makeup item featured in her newly announced Zodwa Wabantu Beauty Collection. The new product, titled Exotic Red Lipsticks, shows a red lip liner and liquid lipstick, which parallels her bold persona.
The lipstick has received mixed reviews from fans, who believe that the product line is not in-keeping with her brand, as she is often seen with little or no makeup. Some of the comments included, “But you don’t do lip liner, lipstick u always natural. How you marketing these brands?”, to which she responded with, “I will start using it.
Can’t wait.”Another fan stated, “I love you, but I don’t get it. The Vaseline, yah… but the lipstick. The Exotic Red Lipstick follows her previously launched Zodwa Wabantu Petroleum Jelly Skin Protectant, which appeared to be more popular with fans.
The businesswoman has teased her new project for many months and is slowly but surely releasing products from her cosmetics range.
