Afro soul group Mina Nawe lead singer Zanele Mazet Maseko has died

Zanele Maseko of the famed early 2000 multi-award winning Afro soul group Mina Nawe has died. The news of her untimely death was announced on the group’s social media accounts two days ago.

It said: “It is with shattered hearts to announce that we’ve lost a big part of who we are as a band and family. Our songstress Zanele ‘Mazet’ Maseko passed away this morning. We humbly ask for your support during this difficult time as we hold hands with her family, friends & colleagues.

She was 36-years-old at the time of her death.

Details of the cause of her death and funeral have not yet been released.
The industry has suffered another major blow with his loss, after the untimely passing of multi-talented TV presenter and actress, Vinolia Mashego and actor Charles “Big Boy” Maja their passed away past week. This was confirm by one of the top Kalawa Jazzmee Producer and family member Sipho Pollack Maseko on Facebook: To think that we had so much planned for the year 2020, I am shattered. 😔
