Wolves beat Man U 2 – 1. Manchester United never really get started and Wolves definitely hit them on the counter only for Rashford to pull one back 4 minutes into stoppage time.
Wolves were playing much better with a compact defence and Pogba was a mess. Clearly, Jesse Lingard is still struggling because his performance was poor.
Solskjaer has a lot to worry about considering they are still on number 5 in the premier league and they are facing Barcelona in the Uefa Champions League. This is his second defeat in a row and as it seems things will only get worse if players like Pogba keep playing like he did today at Wolves.
It’s a second defeat on the bounce for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his side were definitely second best on today. Brilliant displays from Diogo Jota and Raul Jimenez up top caused Man U lots of problems. It was a thrilling encounter as VAR controversy was chucked in there to create another brilliant cup tie.
Manchester United were not coherent to the fact that we feel some of the injured players were not fully fit to play in this match. Pogba made so many mistakes we lost count and Wolves definitely deserved this win. For Solskjaer its back to the drawing board.
