At 13H47 Sunday afternoon Netcare 911 responded to reports of a shooting on Alphawood place in Woodview Phoenix North of Durban.
Reports from the scene indicate that two adult males had been shot in an exchange of gunfire.
A Netcare 911 Emergency Care Practitioner had initiated CPR on one of the patients however his condition rapidly deteriorated and he was sadly declared deceased on the scene.
The second adult male showed no signs of life and was declared deceased on arrival by Netcare 911 Paramedics.
The circumstances leading up to the shooting will be investigated by the relevant authorities who were on scene.
