KwaZulu-Natal: At 14H20 Tuesday afternoon, Netcare 911 responded to a collision on the N2 North Bound, just before the Mount Edgecombe off-ramp in Umhlanga, Durban. Reports indicate that two trucks and a motorcycle were involved in a collision.
On scene with Netcare 911 was ALS Paramedics, IPSS Medical Rescue, SAPS Search and Rescue, Phoenix SAPS, and the Durban Metropolitan Police Services.
Medics assessed the scene and found the driver of the motorcycle, an adult male deceased.
The drivers of the trucks were not injured in the collision. Circumstances leading up to the incident will be investigated by the relevant authorities.
