Richards Bay FC have confirmed that one of their players has passed away. Club captain Siphamandla Mtolo has died. Spepe as he was known to his teammates collapsed during training, according to his team.
Richards Bay FC were unable to provide further details on the tragedy. Mtolo and his team had been enjoying their rookie season in the PSL.
Despite a recent loss of form, the Natal Rich Boys are still sixth on the league standings. The club are leading the tributes to Mtolo, who will be sorely missed.
