The South African Weather Service has issued a warning of rainfall for parts of Kwa-Zulu Natal, Eastern Cape, and Free State.
Motorists are being urged to exercise caution on slippery roads.
Scattered thunderstorms are expected in Gauteng as well.
Flooding of vulnerable settlements, both formal and informal, roads, low-lying areas, and bridges are possible.
