Two dead in R61 South Coast collision

KwaZulu-Natal: At 07H07 Sunday morning, Netcare 911 responded to a collision on the R61 in Margate on the KZN South Coast.

Reports indicate that a car and a small truck were involved in a collision.

On arrival, fire and rescue services utilized hydraulic tools to gain access to the inside cab.

Medics assessed the scene and found that a passenger in the car was found deceased on arrival.

The driver of the car had sustained critical injuries and was treated on scene before being rushed by private ambulance to the hospital, where he sadly passed away.
