Market leader in the trade in assembly and fastening material and over 6000 products like Body Clips and Accessories, Chemicals, Diagnostics, electrical, Globes, Hand tools, hoses and couplings, Power Tools, tape, PPE, etc., which are delivered nationwide directly to customers through 5 Express Shops and a Call Centre seeks a Shop Coordinator to
Coordinate and ensure the smooth running of all express shops.
Key Responsibilities:
Overall support of all shops on a daily basis – Cape Town, Durban, George, PE and JHB
Update shop sales figures daily and monthly
Agree on a daily and monthly shop’s set target
Implement strategies to increase the sales of the shops by minimum of 15% annually
Compile and submit all month end reports to the Marketing Manager
Ensure payments for cash and account customers are recorded
Communicate clearly with the shop representatives on all shop related matters
Maintain all articles based on demand, overstock, deletion, supersession and focus on the balance of the product range
Receive, process stock orders and follow up on delivery daily
Arrange for shop deliveries from the Johannesburg Warehouse to the allocated shops
Process all stock adjustments for the shops
Approve all goods returned to the shop for credit
Ensure that all shops are maintained and cleaned
Involve the shop representatives in all product promotions, coordinate and distribute the literature to all sales staff when required
Prepare and coordinate all customer shop days (from start to finish)
Assist the sales staff with catalogues, brochures, marketing materials and the promotional products which are on special
Assist in the implementation for the new shops in 2020
Perform ad hoc duties as required within the Marketing department
Minimum Requirements:
Matric or equivalent
Minimum of 2 Years sales experience
Fluent in English (written and verbal)
Excellent communication skills
Sales orientated and strategic thinking
Computer literate (Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher, Excel and Adobe InDesign)
