Private School Campus is looking for a very responsible, patient and friendly Code 10 Driver with a spotless, accident free driving record and love of children to pick up and drop off Elementary and Secondary school children safely and promptly along various routes.
Requirements & Qualifications for the Position
Valid Code 10 driver’s license with up to date Passenger Drivers Permit
Clean driving record (2/3 years plus mini van/bus) driving experience
An understanding of all current South African Road Safety Regulations
Excellent co ordination and judgement skills when it comes to safe, responsible driving
Honest, courteous and friendly nature
Clean Criminal Record
At least 3 excellent contactable references
Exemplary knowledge of Johannesburg routes and areas
The successful candidate must perform the following daily tasks/responsibilities::
Safely transport children in a bus or van from the school to their destinations with a smiling face!
Ensure the safety of each child by maintaining vehicle functionality on a regular basis
Implement safety procedures with the school director.
Maintain the cleanliness and standard of the vehicle
Maintain fluid and petrol levels at all times
Ensure that all children are safely strapped in and sitting securely whilst in transit
Ensure that children/ pupils are met by parents/relevant childcare guardian upon drop off
Salary
