REQUIREMENTS:

Matric with relevant degree/diploma will be an advantage

Driver’s License is essential

Min 4 years sales experience in Transport & Logistics Services

Excellent PowerPoint, MS Office & analytical skills

Strong communication skills and capable of working independently

Attention to Detail and exceptional work ethic

Passionate about winning business and closing deals

Risk and report writing skills

DUTIES:

Maintain and Grow client base

Visit clients regularly

Achieve budget per client

Build relationships with multiple levels -Strategic, Tactical & Operational

Manage client expectations and handle and overcome client objections

Develop an account strategy per client

Client presentations

Manage existing client renewals effectively

Co-ordinate and complete Tenders

Re-implement clients & continuously looking at different ways to be innovative with the account

Ensure a deep understanding of the client’s business is developed in order to add value to their business

Attend all training to improve sales skills

Share best practices with the team

Work closely with Operations and Customer Service to ensure client satisfaction

Quantify company value to clients

Continuously sell to existing clients to increase wallet share

Negotiate contracts, price increases and other operational challenges

Enable and assist Debtors in collecting aged monies

Monitor service levels and implement any action plans that are needed to mitigate risk

Implement and maintain management reporting tools to effectively measure client conformances

Assess and gauge client profitability

Attend weekly/monthly sales meetings

Salary: Dependent on experience and company benefits
