REQUIREMENTS:
Grade 12 and relevant qualification
Min 3 years’ experience in Sales and Merchandising calling on Buyers
Ability to travel nationally and Internationally
Effective communication and sales skills
DUTIES:
Travel locally when required to drive Sales and relationship with national customers
Travel overseas to offer guidance with regards to product
Participate in Trend Research with Design team to ensure cohesive understanding of product and targeted areas within the business
Collaborate with Design team on Product Development / updates to ensure customer has constant source of newness to generate sales
Strong and diverse product knowledge to assist in price improvements with customers and Production team through construction and value engineering suggestions
Travel with Sales and Merchandise Manager to the East (where necessary) to be involved in the price negotiation
Weekly checks with Production team with regards to status of orders and any pending issues
Assist in driving sales target through building customer relationship and chasing new orders daily
Strong ability to effectively negotiate with customers to confirm sales in congruence with parameters outlaid by Sales and Merchandise Manager
Report to Sales and Merchandise Manager on account targets and areas that require pursuing or lowering of targets
Ad hoc account management requirements
Dealing with quality problems and facilitate solution with customer, QA and Production team.
Weekly reports (Sales update)
Managing of work flow and deadlines within team
Effective sample management and monitoring within team
Maintain relationships with customers through regular communication
