Two elderly women murdered at retirement village in PE

crime scene

Two women, aged 87 and 91, have been murdered at a retirement village in Sunridge Park, Port Elizabeth.

The bodies were found bound and gagged at the St John Stella Londt Retirement Centre on Thursday.

Their rooms had been ransacked.

A resident at the village says she’s been complaining about security for some time.

“I’m personally concerned because we are in a private cottage that I can lock up. But these two people were upstairs there. It’s an inside job. It’s somebody who knows that there are patients up there. Beams were put up here and not one of those work.”
