Pearl Modiadie just rejected a man who professed his undying love for her. This in itself isn’t new, but the manner in which she shut him down was both hurtful and graceful in equal doses. The former Zaziwa presenter definitely has her fair share of admirers on the Twitter streets. This week, one such admirer was brave enough to shoot his shot after the presenter shared a gorgeous picture of herself before claiming that she was all he needed to be happy in life. Little did he know what was in store for him.
The hopeful casanova probably thought he had done enough to woo the 31-year-old TV and radio star when he said, “I wish I was married to you… i would have been a happy man. You are so beautiful”. Smooth, ne?
Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to win over Pearl’s heart. In fact, Pearl went as far as not only breaking his heart but she crushed his dreams in the process when she revealed that he probably wouldn’t be a happy man if he was married to her. She said:
No..no..no… a beautiful bride doesn’t guarantee a happy marriage.

Savage. But in a friendly way. The unnamed tweep didn’t persist but a quick search on Twitter will show you that Pearl is being tagged by an admirer at least once a day (even as we write this, a thirsty tweet has just crept under the radar) and we are not sure how she deals with this. Not least of all because she’s already got a man in her life!
Since August, the Metro FM star has been showing off little snippets of her secret lover and let’s just say it doesn’t look like she’s going to be available any time soon.
