President Cyril Ramaphosa condemns violence in Diepsloot

President Cyril Ramaphosa has condemned the suspected mob violence attack last night in Diepsloot. Ramaphosa says they will continue talks with the community to get to the heart of the problems.

He says they will be engaging community leaders to resolve the issue.

Residents embarked on an anti-crime protest, during which one person was killed in a suspected vigilante attack. The protest follows a spate of unsolved murders in the area.
