Pedestrian struck down in peak hour traffic

KwaZulu-Natal: At 16H58 Tuesday afternoon Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the N2 Northbound opposite Sunningdale approximately two kilometers before the Umhlanga offramp, Durban.

Reports from the scene indicate that an elderly adult male had been struck down by a light motor vehicle while crossing the road.

The patient was found to have sustained moderate injuries and was treated on the scene.

Once stabilized the patient was transported by ambulance to the hospital for further treatment.
