Durban man has seizures while driving on Freeway

KwaZulu-Natal: At 17H00 Tuesday afternoon Netcare 911 responded to reports of a driver unresponsive in his car on the M4 Freeway in Glen Ashley Durban North.

When medics arrived on scene they found a 56-year-old adult male single-occupant slumped over the steering wheel with active seizures, fortunately, the car had managed to slow down and stop; avoiding a collision in peak hour traffic.

The patient was found in a serious condition and required Advanced Life Support intervention to stabilize him.

Once treated the patient was transported by ambulance to the hospital for further treatment.
