Zandile Christmas Mafe, the 49-year-old man arrested and charged for setting parliament alight, will know on Friday whether he will be granted bail.
He faces charges of arson and terrorism.
The state insists they have the right man and a strong case adding they have a confession from Mafe detailing the motive.
But, Mafe says it wasn’t him and intends to sue the state for wrongful arrest and his subsequent incarceration.
