Ntando Kunene celebrated her son Oyinkosi’s 1st birthday! She shared a heartfelt message on her Instagram, gushing over her and Khaya Mthethwa’s bundle of joy. Together they welcomed their baby boy, only to separate and file for divorce 10 months later.
I could possibly write a whole essay but I can’t yet put my feelings on paper just as yet. I just love you so much Oyinkosi. Happy First Birthday my little boy. May you grow to be a man of integrity, wisdom and love. May God help me to raise you in a way that glorifies him. Mommy loves you,” she wrote.
She even posted an adorable snap of the two of them and people flooded her comments section wishing the baby boy a happy birthday. When The former Miss South Africa announced that she and Khaya were getting divorced, it was revealed that she and her son have moved out of their marital home in Durban and have moved back to Ntando’s place of birth, Mpumalanga.
A few weeks after news broke, she spoke out on how she finds solace in crying about a situation and moving on. “There’s something so beautiful about starting from scratch…so long as we are given breath in our body.” she wrote. The proud mama is looking forward to greener pastures with her son all by her side.
