KwaZulu-Natal: Early Friday morning Netcare 911 responded to a collision on Jeffels Road in Prospecton Durban South region.
Medics assessed the scene and found that a taxi and car were involved in the collision.
Multiple people had sustained moderate injuries and one person had sustained serious injuries.
The Ethekwini Fire and Rescue Services used hydraulic tools to free the seriously injured driver of the taxi.
Once stabilised all the patients were transported by various ambulance services to hospital.
