One dead, two critical following suspected ambush in Katlehong

At 06H41 Wednesday morning Netcare 911 responded to reports of a shooting on S.S. Segwane Street in Moseleke East, Katlehong.

Reports from the scene indicate that three occupants of a light motor vehicle, two males and a female has sustained multiple gunshot wounds in an alleged ambush.

Paramedics assessed the patients and found that one of the males had sustained fatal injuries and was declared deceased on the scene.

The other male and female sustained serious injuries and required Advanced Life Support intervention to stabilise them.

Once treated all the patients were transported by various ambulance services to hospital for further treatment.

Circumstances leading up to the shooting will be investigated by the SAPS who were on scene.
