Former deputy NPA head Nomgcobo Jiba has withdrawn her High Court application challenging the legality of the Mokgoro Inquiry which found her unfit to hold office.
She has also written to the Speaker of the National Assembly saying she no longer wishes to be reinstated to the job.
In her letter, Jiba said after consultations with her family, she’s decided to move on with her life.
She has thus declined an offer by Parliament’s Justice Committee to make representations on why she should be reinstated.
Her former colleague Lawrence Mrwebi, meanwhile, is asking to make oral representation to the committee through his lawyers.

Rapper Cassper Nyovest didn’t honour his interview commitment and DJ Fresh called him unprofessional. The star who is currently preparing for his #FillUpRoyalBafokeng was scheduled to have an interview with DJ Fresh yesterday on his 947 radio show.
