8,078 new infections have been recorded in the last 24 hours.
KwaZulu-Natal is leading in terms of new infections with 2,281 cases. It’s followed by the Western Cape with 1,765 infections.
Gauteng is third with 1,549.
The Eastern Cape recorded just over one thousand new cases
The rest of the provinces have under 500 new cases.
The positivity rate rose to 20.1 percent.
Sadly, 139 people have died, taking the death toll to over 91,400.
