Actress Pearl Thusi has shared the good news of Queen Sono doing great on the streaming charts – Netflix’s Queen Sono has been appearing at number one most-watched in South Africa and Kenya while it was number two in Martinique – Pearl Thusi is so excited about the success of her new series Queen Sono, she has been keeping fans up to date with ratings.

Netflix’s Queen Sono, starring Mzansi’s Pearl Thusi, is soaring up the charts as it has is at number one spot in two African countries. Pearl shared on Twitter that Queen Sono was the most-streamed on Netflix in South Africa and Kenya and it was at number two in Martinique. The actress is not only shining on the screen as Briefly learned that the actress was yet again on a cover of a magazine.

The star shared that she was on the cover of Pan-African fashion, beauty and lifestyle magazine, SCHICK. This was Pearl’s second cover girl announcement in a week as she is also Cosmopolitan magazine’s first-ever Netflix edition cover girl.

Fans love Pearl’s work on the series but think six episodes is not enough. One user wrote, “You were amazing, only problem was it’s too short, 6 episodes not enough but I’ll be waiting on season 2.” Another just can’t get enough: “I never repeat a movie but this one I’m still surprised that I did #QueenSonoNetflix.” The show premiered on Friday, 28 February and is already a hit.
