Western Cape: At 07H26 Tuesday morning, Netcare 911 responded to a collision on Frans Conradie Drive in Goodwood, Cape Town. Reports indicate that a motorcyclist hit a pedestrian running across the road.
Medics assessed the scene and found that the pedestrian had sustained serious injuries following a traumatic amputation on his lower left leg.
The motorcyclist, also an adult male, had sustained critical injuries and required advanced life support intervention to stabilise him.
Both patients were treated on scene before being transported by ambulance to hospital for further care.
