Things are heating up on Skeem Saam and it seems the drama is only getting started. Pitsi was shot while visiting his uncle, Meneer Magongwa.
According to the teasers for Wednesday, 28 June, Pitsi’s life hangs on the balance, and everyone is shocked to the core when the shooter confesses.
This should be interesting as the shooter is Magongwa’s youngest son, Bushang. It remains to be seen if little Bushang will be the one to come clean as he shot his cousin Pitsi while they were playing.
The boys had found the weapon on the table in Magongwa eldest son Mahlatse’s room after he found it buried in their garden. It was buried by the dodgy police officer, Sergeant Rathebe, who also happens to be dating Magongwa.

The synopsis further says: “Lovers turn on each other when things get heated in the interrogation room.” Perhaps this is referring to Magongwa and Rathebe. He might finally see her true colours. What does he actually see in her anyway? The woman might be serial killer and it’s just a matter of time until Sergeant Babiele catches her.
The teaser for Thursday, 29 June, says Babeile will officially arrest a colleague – whom we can only hope is Rathebe. It further says Alfred is about to lose what matters most to him, and he is crushed. One can’t think of anything Magongwa loves more than his job. Could the teaser be referring to his kids? I hope not.
Mr Kgomo is back to face the music, but no one is happy. The HR lady has pulled out all the stops and gathered several witnesses to testify against him. He stood his ground despite all the damning allegations against him, some of which were lies. It will really be a miracle if he makes it through this.
It seems like a decision about his hearing will be made on Thursday and according to the teaser, people are worried about the outcome. Among the people who testified against Kr Kgomo were Dr Thobakgale, MaNtuli, Dr Hlongwane, physiotherapist Eunice, and his former side chick Melita, who all labelled him a bully.
On Friday, 30 June, Rathebe will be baying for Alfred’s blood and will make it known in a very public manner. Mr Kgomo is informed of the outcome of his disciplinary hearing. If he gets his job back, everyone who testified against him must prepare to feel his wrath. He ran Turf Hospital like it was his spaza shop. It will only be worse if he comes back.
