Mamelodi Sundowns 4-3 Kaizer Chiefs

Mamelodi Sundowns retained the top spot in the MultiChoice Diski Challenge after edging Kaizer Chiefs in a seven-goal thriller on Sunday afternoon at Giant Stadium.

Yusuf Carrim, Promise Mkhuma, Neo Mphuthi and Cassius Mailula all scored for the Brazilians while Yassen Bunting, Nkosingiphile Ngcobo and Raheem Milazi netted for Chiefs but the three goals were not enough in the end to avoid defeat.

Bayanda Shangase netted a brace while Thamsanqa Nombika was also on the scoresheet for Usuthu, who leapfrogged the Citizens into fifth place.
