Logistics Coordinator will be responsible to coordinate all export transactions ensuring implementation and execution of controls & compliance.

Duties:

Obtain and coordinate shipping quotes for all Exports, managing communication to Business and liaising with Freight Forwarders, Guidance of Sales departments involved in the processing of all Export transactions, verifying item codes on order vs HS Codes, Monthly Exports billing from Freight Forwarders
Control register of all foreign deals updating status at any point in time and update filed with document packs, management of outstanding shipments
Investigation of compliance per destination country of export coordinating relevant certificates, inspections, etc. Ensure legal and statutory compliance on all shipments. Continuous updating export requirements information per destination country on Sharepoint
Weekly and monthly analytical, statistical, management, SHEQ reporting on transactions, department performance, training, etc.
Monthly training and information share to Sales and Logistics departments, weekly information share on Workplace and formal email communications. Management of staff compliment, including upskill of Exports Coordinator

Experience & Qualifications:

Financial background, including reconciliations, Imports & Exports experience (Critical), knowledge of Incoterms, HS Codes and legal and statutory compliance.
Strong computer literacy skills, ERP System experience (advanced MS Excel, Word, and Powerpoint advantageous) Tertiary qualification will be an advantage.
Ability to work under pressure and without supervision and take ownership of assigned tasks and on-time delivery, reliable and committed. with very strong organizational skills including the ability to multitask
Analytical, Logical and methodical with emphasis on attention detail, High-level communication capability, with excellent English written and verbal skills
Previous managerial experience is essential, including the reporting level. Project management and OLA management will be an advantage
