Mzansi Magic’s gritty, dark and sometimes controversial prison drama, Lockdown, is back with a new season that is bound to shake up Monday evenings .

Last season came to a dramatic end with an injured Monde (Zola Nombona) making a run for it with the stolen diamonds, as Maki (Linda Sebezo) and her nemesis, Deborah (Pamela Nomvete) came face to face in an explosive showdown.

The South African iconic prison drama series, starring Lorcia Cooper as Tyson, Zola Nombona as Monde and Dawn Thandeka King as Mazet will be coming back for season 3 on Mzansi Magic. If you don’t know, Lockdown Season 2 wrapped with a dramatic end with an injured Monde (Zola Nombona) making a run for it with the stolen diamonds, as Maki (Linda Sebezo) and her nemesis, Deborah (Pamela Nomvete) came face to face in an explosive showdown.
