KZN Premier Sihle Zikalala says the support given by the Qatar government is encouraging.
The State of Qatar is providing humanitarian assistance to KZN communities affected by the recent floods.
Zikalala hopes to continue building relationships with various countries.
He said, “it is the humanitarian support which talked to various things that are required when people are affected by floods. The support came from the Qatar government reaching out through the ministers of foreign affairs in SA…”
“We been trying to ensure that we build, good relationships with various countries. We are inspired that they felt that they should come assist us during this time of need.”
