KwaZulu-Natal: At 23H15 Sunday night, Netcare 911 responded to a collision on the N2 just before Hibberdene on the KZN South Coast.
Reports indicate that a light delivery vehicle and a light motor vehicle were involved in a head-on collision.
Medics assessed the scene, they found patients strewn across the road.
Sadly three people had sustained fatal injuries and were declared deceased on the scene.
Three people had sustained critical injuries and another three occupants had sustained serious injuries.
The patients were treated on scene by paramedics from private and government services, and once stabilised were transported by ambulance to hospital for further care.
