Mokonyane: ANC needs time to reflect on allegations against Joemat-Pettersson

The ANC’s first deputy Secretary General, Nomvula Mokonyane says the party has not had a chance to reflect on the allegations made against the late Tina Joematt-Pettersson.

Suspended Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane released audio recordings and WhatsApp messages of alleged extortion and bribery solicitations from Joematt-Pettersson on Tuesday.

Mokonyane says the ANC will deal with any allegations when the time is right.

“The ANC has not had any opportunity to reflect on these allegations. We have been reflecting on the mourning,” she said.
