KickOFF.com reported that the young goalkeeper feels he is now ready to replace Itumeleng Khune at Kaizer Chiefs. Khune has battled injuries over the past year-and-a-half, but many football fans feel it is a matter of time before he shows his true class once again. However, Naane begs to differ and feels the veteran is past his prime. Naane said, “I would like to play for Kaizer Chiefs. I think I can do better, because Khune] is old now.

The rookie goalkeeper added, “I can take him out because I think I am a great keeper. I can do better than him.” Many were stunned by Naane’s comments and it even resulted in a response from Khune. The 32-year-old took to Twitter and shared some laughing emojis while saying: “I wish him everything of the Best.” Not long ago, Khune revealed his ambition to reclaim his number one jersey for both club and country.
