He scored a radio gig on Vibe FM in KZN recently and told TshisaLIVE he also wants to go into acting.
While Idols SA runner-up Mthokozisi Ndaba is still very much about that music life, he wants to “diversify his investments” by branching into a few other areas, like acting.
“I have gone into radio and the next step will be presenting and the next step is wherever the wind blows me.”
The dude even went to an audition for popular soapie Uzalo in the province, but it didn’t go according to plan.
“I have been applying for roles. I applied for Uzalo and went for an audition but it was too busy. People kept taking pictures with me. It is not a bad thing but it was distracting.”
Mthokozisi said he was now trying to get a private audition on the show. “I want to avail myself for the auditions but we are not there yet.” He said the first step right now was to ace his hosting gig on the radio.
“At first, it was like I had got hit by a train. I found it tough to differentiate between an interview and presenting. But I got it very quickly. I mean the show is four hours long so I have had to. I am loving my time on that platform.”
