Colombia finally make good on all that possession. They have been threatening to score for a while and finally do so. A short corner is routine is worked back to James who clips a ball into the box. Yerry Mina is there to head it in past the goalkeeper.
Half Time Poland started very brightly, but couldn’t find a killer finish. Colombia, backed by tens of thousands of fans, grew into the game and have had a lot of joy on the right-hand side. Cuadrado, in particular, has looked brilliant. That goal was a training ground treat, albeit not as good as England’s earlier.
