Russia get the ball forward to Fedor Smolov. Domagoj Vida pushes him out wide but the striker tries to catch injured Danijel Subasic off guard with a snap shot from a tight angle.
The keeper reacts to palm it away though. Russia are clinging on!
Luka Modric is just brilliant. He skips through challenges and the ball is like a magnet to his feet. He wins a corner as a result but Russian heads are there to clear it away.
Smolov barrels down the right and reaches the byline. Instead of crossing, he belts hard, straight at the injured netminder. Subasic parries well, and the ball’s hacked upfield.
The crowd are still screaming for a winner but it looks increasingly likely we’ll be going all the way: Extra-time and penalties again for both sides.
