Foschini Group sees growth in online activity

South African fashion retailer The Foschini Group, has reported a headline loss for the six months ended September.

The company says this is due to store closures as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic but it’s not all bad news for the fashion retailer.

During the past six months, TFG saw a 153-percent increase in consumer online activity.

TFG CEO, Anthony Thunstrom says the company has also been fortunate to have a customer base that has not defaulted on their store accounts.
