Gauteng: At 16H50 Thursday afternoon Netcare 911 responded to reports of a falls in Midrand.
Reports from the scene indicate that an adult female sustained serious injuries after being kicked in the face by a horse.
The patient was treated on scene by an Advanced life support Paramedic who managed to stabilize her.
Due to the seriousness of her injury the Netcare 1 air ambulance was activated to airlift her to hospital for further treatment.
