
President Cyril Ramaphosa says the energy crisis will be over by 2024.
He was speaking at a meeting between the ANC’s top structures in Johannesburg.
“Energy has been a great drawback for us but we are working on it and we are certain that by 2024 the energy crisis will be over as we are ramping up more and more generation of energy,” he said.
Meanwhile, Ramaphosa adds the Multi-party Charter Africa will not topple his party.
He is confident of an outright victory in next year’s polls.
This week, a group of opposition parties signed a pact to unseat the ANC in the 2024 elections.
Ramaphosa says it’s all a sideshow.
