HOUSE producer TNS is grateful that Mthokozi “DJ Tira” Khathi helped him to be where he is today. The musician, whose real name is Nkazimulo Ngema, shared a long message on his Facebook page thanking DJ Tira.
The rising star from Durban, KZN, still can’t believe he has made it this far and he thanked Tira for being the ladder for him to reach his success. The message read: “DJ Tira helped me open my record label Tns Music Records when I was crying asking for help in SA. Today, my label has an album selling in stores and biggest songs in the country, not forgetting Sony for a good partnership with my company and good treatment. TNS is a simple example o a donation.
TNS also mentioned that last year bouncers didn’t allow him in at Fact Durban Rocks Bouncers. He shared that they refused to let him in while Afro soul singer Busiswa was performing Banomoya. The musician said they didn’t believe he was part of the hit song.
I waited for 2 hrs outside coz I couldn’t afford the tickets to get in. It felt very painful but I don’t blame anyone. It’s the stage that I was supposed to go through in order for me to be where I am today. In January I met DJ Tira for the 1st Time in My Life when I was stranded in the music industry seeking help.
