Clerk VacancyA Manufacturing company in Outer West has a position for a Debtors clerk. The Company has several Branches throughout South Africa including cross border customers and
seeks an individual who must be able to work in a fast pace environment.
Must have knowledge and experience in book-keeping and accounts.
The incumbent must have the following skills:
Good communication skills, written and verbal. Experience with an accounting package and MS Office. Experience in Debtors function, mainly, processing of payments (mapping, proper accounts allocations, bank export, and transaction imports.). Must be able to continuously monitor customers in regard to their account payments and to use discretion when applying billing overrides concerning credit limits and price variances etc.
To maintain an online database with a third party company that is used to monitor bad debt, credit checks, and bank verifications.
The debtors’ function occupies a part of the time and the applicant must be able to assist the financial manager with account-related queries, general office administration, and filing. Salary to be discussed.
