Gauteng: At 06H20 Saturday morning Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the corners of 21st Street and Nico Smith Street in Villeria Pretoria.
Reports from the scene indicate that an adult male sustained critical injuries after being struck down by a car while crossing the road.
On arrival Paramedics found the patient to have sustained severe head and spinal injuries.
He was treated on scene by an Advanced life support paramedic and once stabilized was transported by ambulance to the hospital for further treatment.
