COVID-19: Limpopo Premier addresses rural public health

Limpopo premier Stanley Mathabatha has launched the province’s community-based hotspots eradication strategy to curb the spread of COVID-19. There has been a rapid rise in infections after 19 confirmed cases were uncovered at Marula mine. Mathabatha said the main problems facing the community are rooted in accessibility.

He said, “the issue is health services and roads. Even where there are clinics, the problem is accessibility because of roads. The premier stated he would be taking strong decisions to provide health to the community.  Coronavirus Hotline Number: 0800 029 999 from 8 am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.
